  • Closest water source before this project: The villagers depended on local streams and collected rain water for their daily needs.
Descripton of the village & people: The village of Tetteh-Nkwanta is small and is located in the forest. The houses are built of mud and roofed with zinc sheets. The people are mainly food crop farmers, but there are hunters among them.. The children walk about 3 km (1.9 mi) to attend school in a bigger community.

Description of the project: A new well was constructed an provided with a hand pump
Olikro Odume Kwaku, Chief of the Community: "Thank you very much for remembering us and also for this wonderful provision."
Ben Sacker, village resident: "At long last we can drink from a pump and not walk long distances to draw water from an open well. Thank you very much for making our dreams come true."
Descripton of the well dedication: During the dedication ceremony, there was a presentation of the Gospel, after which a challenge was given to the people to accept and live for the Lord. Those who made the decision were prayed for and advised to fellowship with any Bible believing church of their choice. About 43 people attended the ceremony. 6 people made decisions for the Lord.
