Descripton of the Project: A new well was constructed in the village. The inside of the well was cemented with concrete and a 36 foot pipe with a new Afridev pump was provided to dispense the water.

Descripton of the village & people:  Patasi is a farming community in the Ashanti Region. It is an old village with a population of about 1,200 people. Most of the villagers are peasant crop and livestock farmers; they grow cocoa, cassava, plantain, tomatoes, peppers and many other crops. They raise livestock such as goats, sheep and fowls. A few of the people are petty traders. Their houses are well built with clay and concrete blocks, and roofed with zinc sheets. They have churches, schools, and a clinic available to serve them.
Description of the well dedication:  About 50 people attended the well dedication ceremony. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was presented to encourage the people to live for Jesus Christ. The Word was on Christmas and that God to gave His only Son as a gift to the entire world so we might find peace and reconcile back to God. They were advised to give their lives to Jesus Christ. After the presentation, those who saw the need to have Jesus as their Lord and Savior, were prayed for and asked to join a Bible believing church in the community.

Hygiene Lecture: After the dedication, Pastor Nadabo gave a hygiene lecture for those present at the well site. He talked to them about the need to take good care of the well and its environment. They were also encouraged to store their drinking water in a clean container at home after fetching from the bore well. They were all happy and excited about the information.
