  • Approximate population of the village: 3,000

Descripton of the Project:  The new well was constructed in a central location within the village to ensure easy access to all the villagers. The well was built with a hand pump and a surrounding concrete floor.

Descripton of the village & people:  The village is quite hilly and covered with forest. The people live in houses built with mud bricks and roofed with zinc sheets or thatch. They work as farmers, traders, and hunters. There are schools and churches in the community to serve the people.
Description of the well dedication and Salvations:  A presentation of the Gospel was shared with the approximately 50 villagers who attended, after which the opportunity was given to the people to accept and live for the Lord. Those who made the decision were prayed for and advised to fellowship with any Bible believing church of their choice. 10 people made decisions for the Lord.
Expressions of appreciation:

Anrigboli, Chief of the Village:  "I would like to say Thank You to the donors for helping us in our time of need."

Margins Lartey, resident of the Village:  "First of all, I give thanks to God Almighty for bringing this to our village. In fact, our previous water source was bad for us. this has been a worry for a very long time, but you have come to our aid. I say Thank You on behalf of our community."
