Descripton of the village & people: This is a village in the forest area of the Central Region. It is home to farmers of food crops and cocoa, as well as some hunters. Their houses are scattered in the vicinity and build of mud bricks, with some having zinc roofs. Children have to walk 6 km to and from school daily.
Descripton of the well dedication: The crown of about 30 people who attended the ceremony were presented with the Gospel message, advised of the imminent return of the Lord Jesus, and asked to surrender their lives to Him. Those who willingly surrendered their lives to the Lord were prayed for, counseled with, and advised to fellowship with any Bible-believing church of their choice. Seven people made decisions to live for the Lord.
Isaac Abbiw, youth leader: "These small miners are busily polluting all our alternate sources of drinking water and the authorities are doing nothing about the problem after all our complaints. We went through a lot of difficulties just going around searching for water. Thank you, CBN, for being so thoughtful and helping provide our needs. It is our prayer that the good Lord would bless all your endeavors."
Grace Anderson, villager: "The rains have helped solve our problem, somewhat. Our fears were for the dry season and how we could live through it. Thank you very much for coming in good time. God bless and provide for you."
