Operation Blessing International - Living Water Projects: Ghana
  • Dedication: September 23, 2012
  • Village: Adjamansu, Amansie East Assembly, Ashanti Region
  • Plaque Inscription: Sponsored by small beginnings BIG RESULTS in Honor of Bishop and Pastor Copeland and The New Creation Christian Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas
  • Approximate population of the village: 3,000
  • Number of beneficiaries of this project: 3,000
  • Closest water source before this project: The villagers walk about 4 km (2.5 mi) to another part of the town to fetch water for their daily use.
Descripton of the Project:  The new well was constructed in a central location within the village to ensure easy access to all the villagers. The well was built with a hand pump and a surrounding concrete floor.

Descripton of the village & people:  This is an old village. Many of the residents are peasant farmers who plant crops such as maize, cassava, and vegetables. Their houses are built of mud bricks and roofed with zinc sheets. The children walk about 3 km (1.9 mi) to attend school and church.
Description of the well dedication and Salvations:  A presentation of the Gospel was shared with the 55 villagers who attended, after which the opportunity was given to the people to accept and live for the Lord. Those who made the decision were prayed for and advised to fellowship with any Bible believing church of their choice. 7 people made decisions for the Lord.
Expressions of appreciation:

Honourable Yaw Nwana, Assemblyman:  "Thank you for being a blessing to us, the people of Adjamansu Village. We are grateful for the provision of this well. God bless you for this well!"

Yaw Oteng, Kinsman of the Village:  "On behalf of the villagers, we say thank you to all who made it possible for us to have this well."
